he former Focaccia Florentina has magically transformed into this new establishment. Fans of Southampton’s Sant Ambreous will notice that Felice is remarkably similar to that hot spot. The reason? They share the same ownership, chef, and wine buyer (Think of Felice Wine Bar as Sant Ambreous 2: This Time It’s Personal). As you may have determined from the name, wine is a vital element of the location and even figures prominently in the redesign especially (the chandelier made out of former wine jugs). Chef Simone Parisotto brings eclectic flavors to the menu, stocking it with focaccias, pastas and risotti, and main dishes like bamboo-steamed halibut. So if you’re in the mood for wine and pasta (and who isn’t?), this is the spot for you. –P.B.
