ruck stops are great placed to hang if you’re from the South (a la Britney’s barefoot trip to the truckstop restroom – ironically enough with trucker hat firmly on head) or you are looking to score some cash on the side (of the road), surprising drivers with your sexual services. Fat Annie has given people yet another reason – a guaranteed heart attack by 30.
The menu is full of fried everything (fried cheese curds, chicken fried steak, fish fry, fried oyster…) as well as their interesting specialty – the “Frito Lay Pie” – that’s caught attention with foodies for the bizarre presentation, if not for the unbelievable amount of coronary-unfriendly calories it boasts.
Not only does it promote the evils of America’s obesity problem, but also the other evil of the USA – oil – as evident by the vintage Texaco paraphernalia plastered on the walls.
It would be a fun experiment to house all those celebs, who boast rapid speed metabolisms as their cause for their frail figures, in F.A.T.S. for a year and watch them roll out the door (or be lifted Via Bobcat) to the awaiting paparazzi.
