What could possibly be the headquarters for the don of the Japanese culinary underworld (though it’s really too obvious, isn’t it?) is really a shoebox-sized Japanese resto that serves simple, delicious fish to a loyal following.
http://www.martiniboys.com/files/mbo/donguri.jpgChef Hitoshi Kagawa prepares tiny portions of fish (priced very disproportionately, mind you) inspired by the Kansai region of Japan. Seared salmon sashimi or broiled sea bass are some simple dishes that are cooked (not the salmon’s case, anyways) and served to perfection. Allow the waiter to assist with wine or sake recommendations from the detailed menu.
