t took Mark Firth and Andrew Tarlow months to renovate the 1920's-era dining car they eyed for the launch of their Diner restaurant. Now elegantly restored, the only thing to remind customers they're not in pre-depression-era New York is the contemporary American menu which includes some surprising choices such as a Zucchini puree w/ raw zucchini & mint. Opening under a simple menu of Goat cheese salad, Beet Salad, Green Salad, Soup, Burgers, Skirt Steak, and Roast Chicken, Chef Caroline Fidanza's menu is short and sweet but encompasses just enough choice to please everyone.
