A  merica is known for its wars, its baseball teams and its BBQ. Chef Adam Perry Lang is a true citizen through and through, if you measure true citizenship in pounds of meat.
Daisy May’s BBQ is notorious and often even called America’s best BBQ. Where else can you go and order up a forty pound award winning whole pork butt for six people with creamy coleslaw, Texas toast, fixin’s and watermelon? That pork butt will set you back about $150. For a dinner for six, that’s not too bad.
Try the half pig ($240), the whole pig ($480) or even the 8 bone American rack of lamb ($95). Release your inner carnivorous savage at Daisy May’s. –J.T.
