In a city full of people from Italian descent, there’s a plethora of restaurants to reflect NYC Italian heritage throughout the 5 boroughs. Da Ciro is a rare Murray Hill gem that attracts a crowd of diners anxious for Ciro Verdi’s fresh Italian cuisine that’s heavy on the seafood and flavor.

One of the most unique dishes to arrive from the kitchen is the Linguine Nere al Frutti de Mare – a black linguini pasta (not seaweed) with calamari, shrimp and scallops hiding within the spicy tomato sauce. Add a serving of thin Foccacia bread filled with gooey Robiola Cheese a drizzle of Truffle Oil for an alternative to the heavy garlic bread in so many standard Italian restos.

The joint gets 1 star only because the 0 star option wasn't available. Can't believe people rave on about this place. The staff are rude and moronic. The service is.....what service? And the food.....is that what it is? And don't even get me started on some of their prices. I mean helloooooooo??? $10 for an average size bottle of Pellegrino? Are you kidding me? The water is marked up more than the wine?

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, AND PASS THE ADVICE ONTO YOUR FRIENDS!
