here's an episode of the Family Guy in which Brian gets a job writing for the New Yorker. The office has an aristocratic drawing room/lounge vibe, with wingback chairs, suit-wearing pontificators, and cigar smokers. It resembles Club Macanudo. A cigar lounge with a posh feel, a nod to conquered cultures aesthetic, and a refreshingly grown-up dress code (wear a collar and dress shoes, damn it), Club Macanudo is awash in leather and cigar smoke. -S.T. |
