avin McAleer's Brooklyn-based (obviously) joint began as a take-out/delivery spot and, though maintaining the same bare aesthetic, blossomed into a bit of a neighborhood favorite. Serving up grilled sandwiches, picnic salads, and fried chicken (as well as a host of other solid quick bites) and affordable prices, lead to a steady stream of regulars. While the brilliance of Chicory's epicurean endeavors sill lies in take-out/semi-catering, it's a great short-stop for Cobble Hill strollers.
