Perhaps taking itself a little too seriously, Catch-22 is the newest bar in the Flatiron District. The theme here focuses on WWII and the post-war 40's; or at least the design touches are meant to make you think about war- an army helmet here, soldiery art there, and food and drinks for everyone (like the Allied and Axis Cheese Plates). But we're pretty sure that velvet ropes weren't in existence during the last World War, but Catch-22 is readily employing that symbol of exclusivity, with a roped off VIP section in the upstairs lounge. Perhaps the Catch-22 they are referring to here is the midnight dilemma: to drink more or not to, and the resulting consequences. The decision is yours.
