ho doesn’t love a good sandwich? Aside from Atkins dieters, not many. Especially when it’s made as well as these ones. The name, while not at all clever, accentuates the highlight of the restaurant, the bread. Supplied by nearby Balthazar, paninis, ciabattas, and tapenades act as perfectly crusty and moist building blocks for the quality meats and cheeses that are packed inside (excuse me for that half metaphor). The only downfall is that Bread is not a well-kept secret. The few tables that are available are highly coveted. Waiting patrons act as vultures waiting to swoop in the second you swallow your last bite.
