ven in the midst of a post-hurricane crisis, New Orleans still manages to attract a hefty crowd of tourists craving some real Creole cuisine. A satisfactory displacement of the spicy cuisine just popped up in the theatre district. The menu attempts authentic with its shrimp creole, roast beef debris Po’ Boys and a hefty seafood platter. The two-story eatery is outfitted in cozy couches, a second floor balcony, a patio and a gorgeous dark wood bar. Next time you’re in the theatre district drop in and fling beads at unsuspecting passers by. –J.T.
