f you’re looking for that taste of home that will take you back to Nona’s kitchen the moment it hits your tongue, Bellavitae has got that Italian flavor on lock down. Italian cuisine conniseurs who have searched the city looking for that tiny resto with a family feel will be shedding tears with the memories evoked by this little eatery.

The menu is impeccable - those tiny Fried Little Risotto Balls with Tomato and Smoked Mozzarella melted on the inside and spectacular Puntarelle flown in from Rome with Lemon, Garlic, and Anchovy.Who can resist these incredible appetizers? For mains, pasta is a must. The Farro Pasta with Porcini and Pancetta Ragú is savory and salty but if any style of cuisine knows how to do a more than decent Grilled Colorado Lamb Chops with Rosemary, it’s Italian.
If you didn’t have a shot of Amaretto in your espresso, now is the time to indulge in that almond liqueur with the Amaretto Gelato (with crumbled Lazzaroni Biscotti) for dessert. You may need to loosen the belt a few notches, but know that Nona would be very proud.
