ere’s a shocker, the Bar Blanc has an all white design. Who’d have thunk it? Normally we’d complain about a restaurant wearing white after Labor Day but with it being snow season, we’ll let it slide. Chef César Ramirez has come up with a menu that people will want to come in from the cold to warm up with. Try the baby pig roasted and rolled in orange, star anise and cinnamon if you’re really hungry. Actually, all the dishes are hearty and filling. The rabbit is roasted ever-so-slowly and paired with sweetbread in a salad for those of you looking for slightly lighter fare. But wear black when you go in there, just to fuck up the feng shui. –P.B.
