f you’re looking for a low lighting, booth dining, contemporary American resto, this is the spot. Chef Anita Lo attempts to capture the eclectic NY dining scene by including dishes from foie gras and sashimi apps to Korean flavored Skate and Sautéed Brook Trout mains. If in doubt, try the five or seven course tasting menus – you’re bound to find something you like there.
Throughout the restaurant, a female friendly theme is evident, even from the name of the place which means “woman” in Arabic. Owned and operated by two lovely ladies, the wine menu also reflects the feminine side of Annisa, as they stock their cellar full of vino from vineyards run by female proprietors. Say it with me now: Girl Power!
