my Ruth’s is all about good hearty Southern Cooking. This means fried chicken, catfish, collard greens and ham hocks to name a few. The soul food menu also contains the famous “Al Sharpton” (fried or smothered chicken and waffles) or the Stan Hoffman & Wu Willard (BBQ spare ribs).

Opened by Carl Redding, this Harlem fixture is named it after his grandmother, Amy Ruth. The eatery also offers live music “Jammin’ on the Mic” every 4th Friday of every month.
