Review by Ellen Jakobsmeier |
 urrently closed renovations.
Though you’re head might be spinning after a lengthy search for this elusive bistro, you will be delighted at the wonderful fare offered from the French hot spot. The $25 prix-fixe menu makes life easy when you select your appetizer, dinner and dessert from a delicious selection on the menu. For starters, the Butternut and Kabocha Squash Soup is never a disappointment as the savory flavor slides easily down your throat.
Mains include the Crispy Berkshire Pork Belly with homemade sauerkraut, fingerling potatoes and whole grain mustard sauce (quite the hearty meal) or the roasted Monkfish with french lentils, root vegetables and red wine sauce for seafood fans. Come dessert (if you can handle more), the fantastic Crème Caramel is a rich sweet treat that leaves you with that warm fuzzy feeling all over (much like your first kiss - minus the slobber). - E.J.
