  addy Heisler is a thirty-year-old cougar who engages in an illicit affair with a seventeen-year-old boy. Quite the scandal in Nova Scotia during WWII. After she rips the heart out of the young man’s chest (metaphorically of course), Maddy disappears. Years later, when Jacob has aged into a dapper gentleman, he hears word of his long lost lover. Lies, secrets and based on a true story, Daniel Lillford’s “Maddy Heisler” is an attention grabber of a play. –J.T.
