  here is a regular international DJ fest going on at metropolis this weekend. The two-room event will give space and a sounding board to turntablists from Mexico, San Francisco, Toronto, and beyond. Expect local hero Kid Koala’s soaring spin puppetry, Megasoid’s amalgamated crusty funk and Knifehandchop’s cutting edge. Put to the visions of video-jockies Pfadfinderei this two-day event promises to be a feast for the senses. Go see what electronic spin fusion is all about. –J.T.
