  ey remember back in the day when Clapton got drunk and said that he liked Enoch Powell and didn't like that there were so many immigrants? And then when he was sober he still said that that's the way he felt? Most of the time when celebrities fumble like that they apologize and try to explain what they "really" meant. Not Clapton, he just stuck right with it. And he's stuck with his music for all of these years too. Now a true guitar legend, he's still got it.
