Montreal Galleries
So many art exhibits feature landscapes, and galleries and museums always try to make their exhibit sound different from the next. Can landscapes really be all that different? Well this exhibit displays photos and paintings of landscapes in Canada and the U.S. from the American Civil war and Canadian Confederation to the end of World War I. Artistic celebrities such as Thomson, Church and O’Keeffe are featured and the more than 200 pieces of art shown come from collections around the world. My verdict? Worth checking out. Even if it does end up being the same ole’ I never said landscapes were a bad thing. A.C.
