  he Algerian master of haute couture, Yves Saint Laurent, is being honored with an exhibition at the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal this summer. His sketches, accessories, fine evening wear and inspirations will be on display for design savvy folk to swoon over and admire. “Masterful Pencil Strokes,” “The YSL Revolution,” “The Palette,” and “Lyrical Sources” are the four themes the exhibition will focus on. Famed writers/fashionistas, Florence Müller and Hamish Bowles, have put together an illustrated catalogue with exclusive photos by Alexandre Guirkinger to compliment the exhibit. It’s like the annual style issue of Italian Vogue, but better and one-of-a-kind. –J.T.
