 re you a fan of Joe Beef and their unique brand of meat-fueled cuisine? Then you’re going to love McKiernan. The Joe Beef owners have expanded again, this time taken the space that used to house Bonny’s. This latest venture is intended to be a luncheonette and wine bar. There are only a handful of tables, but they will fill up fast. There is a casual atmosphere in the eatery, but the food is very serious. The emphasis is on finger foods that will compliment a delicious bottle of wine. You’ll snack on smoked oysters with toast, a collection of salads, or a variety of delicious pork and cheese based sandwiches that will make you weak in the knees (and possibly the heart). The creations may read like standard lunch fare, but the ingredients and preparation are so exquisite that the dishes taste gourmet. Carnivores and wine lovers unite!
