 f there’s one thing that Ethiopia is known for, it’s the well-fed people (isn’t third world poverty hilarious?). I jest of course, but while there might not be much food kicking around Ethiopia, what they do cook up can only be described as magically delicious. Magdala is the latest Ethiopian restaurant to hit the Montreal scene, and it is sure to be every bit as good as Montreal’s current Ethiopian hotspot Messob d’Or. Why will it be that good you ask? Because the owners of Magdala are stealing as many staff members from the established restaurant as they can. Now that’s smart business practice. Why bother fighting with the competition when you can just become the competition instead? –P.B. |
