When we recently booked back-to-back appointments, even sitting in the waiting room?with its comfy couches, low lights, herbal teas (iced and hot) and good smells - jump-started the relaxation process.

Services run the gamut, from hot stones and hot paraffin treatments like eyebrow reshaping done in comfortable rooms with exposed brick walls and mahogany wood throughout. A few standouts include the personalized change rooms, which put all others to shame; your own toilet, sauna, steam room and shower, which feature four-side showerheads. With half of the clients at the spa being men, there's no shame in indulging with a facial and deep hair conditioning treatment: You are at the Helene, after all.
