his new store opening of EQ3 is going to really get Montreal-folk excited- because who doesn’t love low prices?! Everything is offered for a fraction of what normal furniture stores would ask, and the quality is better than certain cheap Swedish stores that don’t care how long it lasts.
The style is similar to the above-mentioned store, but slightly less modern. Clean lines and simplicity rule EQ3, with functionality hitting the top of the list. Sofas are priced around $1100, with sofa-beds running about $300 higher. Tables combine sleek wood finishes with modern elegancy of metal. You even have the option of buying different sized table legs in order to vary the height. Tired of that boring end table? Turn it into a low cocktail table!
Beds are also cheap cheap, with some frames as low as $200. They also offer higher end beds with padded headboards- the newest craze. They sell many other things as well, such as desks, bedding, décor, rugs, and tableware. If you’re not exactly a Trading Spaces designer, EQ3 has a page on their website for design ideas. You can even pretend you came up with it on your own. No one will know- except me. -S.B.
