Though there is no association with the self-taught, Kalamata-born, Greek pianist (and the famous flowing curly mane), you will find plenty of those delicious black olives throughout Yannis restaurant in Montreal. The service is relaxed and the atmosphere welcoming as is common with many a Greek resto. Of course you can expect the traditional souvlaki and tzatziki combo but that reliable delicious skewer of meat is what continues to draw locals repeatedly. Why mess with a good thing?
