t lives on Laurier, but what exactly “it” is has yet to be determined (perhaps a relation to the Adam’s family?). In an attempt to tackle the Outremont Raw-food crew that firmly believes any heat on their precious veggies will kill their life force (i.e. living enzymes), Viva Laurier brings life back to your dinner with their inventive, raw menu.
Like many veggie-friendly restos, creativity is key, thus the meals encompass international flavours with Mexican taco (the tortilla shell replaced by a collard leaf), miso soup (with notes of almond and cilantro) and Italian pizzas (a nut crust that is just plain nutty).
While this resto has taken care of all the hard work associated with a raw food diet, you pay the price in exchange. However, if you experience the promised clear headedness, renewed energy and a clear complexion as a restul of the raw mantra, it just might be worth it.
