It was so amazing to find this restaurant! It's really the best Japanese I've had in such a long time! I highly recommend the place. the food is amazing, the entire place is inviting, not to mention how wonderful the staff was. The prices were outstanding as well! You MUST visit there ! ! ! !

The most well-kept best-spot-related secret in Montréal.
Please, just bring nice people over there. I hope it stays like that always.

It feels good to be there,it feels like you are away (it gives a great break from the city). It's unpretentious, authentic, the food is to die for (try the eggplant appetizer), the staff is really nice, simple. They have the kindness to offer you green tea. They don't look after their money. As I said: a break from the city ;)

I'd advise to book in advance.
    Enjoy!

I always love Japanese food. This is the best one I found in Montreal since I am in Canada (the best one I tried in Canada so far is in London, Ontario, Seiki Resturant).

The staff was very nice, and professional. It is so good that I am going back with my friends tomorrow!!!!

This is a fantastic place. My spouse is of Japanese decent and this is THE place that he feels most comfortable. The food, to him, is the most authentic Japanese food on the island of Montreal. We go there often and are always treated like royalty. The sushi is great, the a-la-carte items are amazing and all the other items on the menu are absolutely fabulous. Really... this is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Montreal.

I can't claim to have been to every Japanese restaurant in Montreal, but I did live in Japan, so I hope that gives me a bit of expertise at least. Of every place I've been, this restaurant has the most authentic feel, from the decor to the food itself. The staff speak Japanese, green tea is brought to the table without asking, and the sushi is made with wasabi in it, not on the side, which is the way it's meant to be. It's relatively small but never too busy and the price can't be beat.
