S he summered in Tuscany, in a village near Florence. She was 90% sure that her summer fling was over 18. When she returned home, her friends teased her during copious martini sessions. They called her lover Mr. Biscotti. I don't know why Le Latini didn't occur to them.
Owner Moreno DiMarchi has been overseeing operations at Le Latini for over a quarter of a century. During that time, the risotto has stayed consistently in demand. The risotto is considered the house specialty and a must-try for any Latini-virgin. The table d'hôte menu is probably the best choice for a meal that is guaranteed to satisfy, but the à la carte choices aren’t too bad either. The menu is standard Italian fare, offering pastas, veal, seafood, sweetbreads and more, all prepared with the care and exquisite combination of flavors that has earned Le Latini it’s prestigious reputation.
If you’re planning on stopping by, be sure to sell some stuff, because Le Latini isn't cheap (though, it is cheaper when not paying for Mr. Bistcotti). Le Latini is considered by many to be the best Italian restaurant in town. That title is open to debate, but it is the most expensive Italian restaurant in town.

7 Reader Reviews | I don't understand what all of the fuss is about. Personally, I'm not that impressed. This restaurant is extremely pricey for what you get. In this fabulous city of ours there are many Italian restaurants that surpass this at a fraction of the cost. Nice place to go if you're going on an expense account I guess and want to impress your guests with how flush you are.

This restaurant has been reviewed several times in the local paper and on the web. They have a few standout dishes such as the risotto and the tiramisu. Everything is overpriced and the service poor. The restaurant itself is nice, but again should be better for the $$$$. Fine for the business crowd, not for foodies or dates.
