The best dishes of the Québécois tapas-based line-up are gutsy and unrefined. Deep-fried crab beignets braised are a big and flavourful. There are four tartares on tap, including beef, tuna, venison and salmon with thin slices of baguette. As for other options, expect a little round-up of veal burgers, a warm salad of endive with hazelnuts, slices of apple, fennel and celery sprouts. Three mini veal burgers offered something cute to chew on.

If you can’t get a table in the restaurant, you can always eat in the adjacent bar, which operates on a first-come first-served basis. Which, by the way, it seems the people eating at the bar always seem to be having more fun anyway.
