'll admit it: I've seen more than one episode of Sex and the City. I liked that Timothy Olyphant episode. He's underrated. Anyway, the show never inspired me to drink cosmos. If you're drinking out of a spill-ready glass, go with a Trent-style martini (James who?).

In turn, I viewed Cosmos skeptically. Luckily, someone pointed out that, rather than a haven for loquacious, late-thirties/early-forties female sexual predators, Cosmos is actually (thankfully) a beloved breakfast restaurant. A tiny joint -imagine the cleaning bill havoc martini glasses would cause - Cosmos also serves comfort lunch options to a coterie of locals and repeat-ers. -S.T.
