on’t let the name fool you, Pavarotti would never be spotted at this club (as if he’d be hard to miss). But if you do fancy yourself a celebrity-watcher, this is probably one of your best bets in Montreal, as Club Opera has hosted a wide range of famous VIPs, from Dennis Rodman to the Pussycat Dolls. Montreal has always been a Mecca for Canadian clubbers (and I don’t mean whiskey drinkers), but this is the first club with such epic proportions, clocking in at 15,000 square feet.

Michael Prete designed the superclub with an international model in mind – something you might see in London, Berlin, or Ibiza. The space has multiple bars, crystal balls, and LED club lighting creating a dimly lit atmosphere for the bump and grind. The club consistently hosts live music, but expect house and hip hop, never Wagner.
