handelier is a nice new little restaurant worth visiting for coffee and light food. They have a variety of pastries as well as gourmet breakfasts based in based labaneh (white cheese made from ewe's milk), dates, toasted pine nuts and caramel, olives or omelettes to haloumi (Cypriot cheese). The lunch menu offers French soups, salads, and sandwiches for the white collar masses, and things spruce up at dinner when the kitchen offers eggplant with cinnamon, fish marinated in red sauce, snd chicken Alexandria Royal King Farouk (chicken breast marinated in a walnut cream on a bed of rice). Regardless of what you choose, you'll still be able to enjoy the stunningly designed dining area and the all new patio (open just in time for summer to end). It's a nice, stylish little dining spot that's perfect for anyone who like to cultivate their image through the things they buy and the places they pay to visit (i.e. yuppies).—PB
