St. Hubert and Swiss Chalet owe a debt to this sauce and bird originator. The rotisserie chicken restaurant, this homey joint has been plucking and cooking for over sixty years. In that time, little has changed. The menu, with its all-business brevity and its stalwart favourites (quarter chicken, half-chicken, chicken sandwich, etc.), has drawn regulars for generations. Employing the charcoal, hardwood heating method, Chalet has perfected avian cooking. -S.T.

I love this place and have never had any kind of problem. For 30 years I order the same thing, it comes in a matter of minutes and it tastes as it always has. It is the taste of home to me.

Long live Chalet BBQ!!! I really love the dang place.

Your delivery SUCKS, I never had an order under 1 1/2 hrs, today was 2 hrs. Especially when you are not in a long distance, you wonder...
When you phone to ask, the girl does not even take any info, says "we
are very busy",, in other words, just wait.
Sorry, but this will be my last phone order from CHALET B.B.Q.
Just not worth the wait & frustation

I always make a pilgrimage to this place when I visit Montreal. It's remarkably consistant, simple and perfect, the original, the best.
Two drafts, 1/2 chicken with fries, cole slaw, extra sauce, and I'm in heaven,........ the Michelin 3 star of BBQ chicken.
