Chef Martin Picard reinvents classic comfort foods with a twist -- he also whips up such hearty creme caramel, and the sophisticated wine list offered a wide range, from an earthy Cotes du Rhones and Sassicaia. Apart from its poutine, Le Pied de Cochon have a very French influence and, just like every true French restaurant, it is not meant for those who watch their carbs or fat intake. Although very heavy, the food is a regal from the appetizer to the dessert - just make sure you dance all night afterwards! – M.C.

LOVED IT. I love foie gras and this place was AMAZING. I ordered the foie gras tout nu (sp?). It was simply pan seared. DELISH! I also had duck carpaccio and bison tartare (both were fantastic). Appetizer of zucchini florets tempura was as light as air. Friends also ordered the foie gras maki (this was in the summer) and they were GIGANTIC. I'd go back to this resto for sure, but reservations are highly recommended and you have to book weeks in advance.
