With an impressive selection of lunch fare, Anton & James has everything to become a mainstay in the downtown area, especially for office and downtown workers in a rush (remember that sense of urgency we talked about?) We’ll pretend that the very tasty and illuminating MB&Co is not literally a minute away. -M.O.

Great spot. It has become a weekly staple for myself and a few college friends who, while low on cash, can always seem to scrape up some coins for a coffee and a muffin. We splurged last week and shared a pizza. A bit on the pricey side, but always worth it. Gazing at the fresh salads and assortment of dressings as well as the ready-to-go sandwiches is almost as much fun as eating them. The staff has always been friendly and intent on building customer relationships that keep people coming back for more.

Very impressive. My daughter moved to Montreal from Halifax in August to go to school. She talks about Anton&James often and eats there almost daily. She couldn't wait to take me there. I loved the bran muffin & yogurt! The pizza was awesome and the wraps unbelievably packed full. Also loved the music & friendly staff. If you ever want to franchise this place, let me know!!! A definite "Must" on my next trip to Montreal. Happy to see my daughter is eating well. Thanks.

Love their Chicken lunch hot plate and their desserts. And their pizza is awesome. I eat there everyday..and it is my way of flushing the stress of work..indulging in good high quality food with faster efficient service especially for me who only have 30 minutes of lunch time.

Well the food is nothing exceptional, its a little overpriced for the quantity. The only real benefit to eat at Anton and James are the fresh produce and the quality of their meats and cheeses. But honestly, you can find better deals on sandwiches and whatever they sell. A little over priced.
The staff is very warm and friendly.

I have to say that there is very little wrong with this new eatery. From their prices to the quality of the fare you just can't go wrong. Some might find it pricey, but the quantity, presentation and delivery and again quality of the produce make this an easy choice. Stop by for one of their Pizza's, but be forwarned the Chicken with Chipolte bites back with some serious sweet heat. Also need to recommend the salads, all stacked with fresh ingredients with a good choice of dressing to choose from...that's all folks
