here are two schools of thought regarding the concept of progress. One side believes that progress is cyclical, while the other believes it to be linear. Neither school seems to take barbeque technology into account (and really, that should be the starting point for any philosophical endeavour). Grilling purists know that progress is neither a circle nor a straight line; it's is a zig-zag. An advancement in one arena is later adapted for use by another. In this case, the "wireless revolution" that is so associated with information technology has finally spread to something of real importance: cooking burgers.

Years ago everyone was bound to their homes. Stereos, telephones and computers and were all stationary. If you wanted to make a phone call, you had to do it from your house. The same is true of cooking. To prepare food anywhere but the kitchen was unheard of. Then a revolution occurred. Sony introduced the Walkman, telephones become mobile, computers became wireless and portable. No longer are people forced to spend so much time in the place where their beds and TV… is. So it was only a matter of time before culinary technology followed suit.
