ou can't accuse Italian designers Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda of cranking out work thoughtlessly. Their latest little MultiPot, a multifunctional lamp in the form of a vase, is pure genious, as it combines an LED ambient light and serves as a space to keep cables neatly stored.

Glossed with a fine high-design sheen, courtesy of a brisk vase-shaped form, the hybrid, MultiPot belongs to a new generation of lighting objects and is the first of Rotaliana products to combine a lighting function with a semi-opaque finish in order to filter the light while hiding the electrical cables. In the process, this viscerally designed product works an effective space-saver, delivered with the grandstanding swagger of a showcase designer item.
