In fact, he started Bob Weir and RatDog when The Grateful Dead were still going strong and focused solely on RatDog when the Grateful Dead were no more. If you haven’t really paid any attention since Garcia’s death, you may not have been following what the other band members have been up to, but you probably will not forget a band with a name like RatDog.
