Originated forty years ago in the titular city, the annual Art Basel grew and grew and, like a beautiful piñata, it eventually exploded across the Atlantic, its spoils landing in Miami. About to unleash its 7th edition, Art Basel Miami continues to grow. Now, it rivals its progenitor in importance, Grasshopper style. Look for art aplenty, wine and cheese affairs, celebrity sightings, and paint splatters.
