Miami Galleries
all it portraiture of the 21st century. Robert Wilson's works shun the use of oils and watercolors, and instead use technology instead to show 26 moving image portraits (just like in Harry Potter!). Presented on large-scale HD plasma flat-screens, these portraits are part video, part photograph, and supplemented with their own soundtrack. Watch as images of Isabella Rossellini and Sean Penn come alive with the blink of an eye or a breathing gesture. Most of the celebrities, ordinary people, and animals are in costume; like Alan Cummings in drag (not really out of the ordinary), or Jeanne Moreau as Mary Queen of Scots. –C.S.
