Miami Galleries
o you enjoy going to art galleries, but always feel as though the exhibitions are lacking some serious rock? If so, this is the exhibition for you. Sympathy for the Devil is a new show in Miami that focuses on the relationship between art and rock and roll. Starting with Any Warhol’s infamous collaboration with the Velvet Underground in 1967, this exhibition at MOCA explores the evolution of the relationship between art and music, and traces the importance of cities such as London, New York, and Cologne for rock and roll. As Andy Warhol once explained, you don't need to think when you paint, but you do get to listen to really good music. If nothing else, this is sure to be the only art show in town that offers the opportunity to raise your lighter in approval. –P.B.
