uban-Dominican artist Quisqueya Henríquez strives to shorten the distance between the Caribbean and the rest of the world in terms of culture and general state of mind. The Caribbean state of mind and culture are the exact reasons behind the rampant tourism into the islands so all the power to her. Over twenty installations, videos, collages, photographs and light/sound works will be shown from the whole spectrum of the artist’s lifelong career. Shorten the gap. –J.T.
