Because Miami can apparently never have enough steak, Morton's is set to open their third restaurant in the Miami area, and the 8th in Florida, in The Crown at Miami Beach, a beautiful oceanfront residential high rise tower. The classic American steakhouse serves everything you would want in a decent steakhouse, including an iceberg wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, shrimp cocktail, and a range of iron-heavy steaks.
As far as old-school steakhouses go, Morton's is in the upper echelon, and you can expect to pay accordingly. This new location will be large and opulent, seating about 24, including 65 in exclusive private boardrooms, as well as 40 in Bar 12*21, the a separate area serving only specialty cocktails and the "Bar Bites" menu (presumably not quite as much heavy meat). - C.S. with R.T.
