ay back in the day when every NYC oil baron discovered the beautiful beaches and sunny skies of Miami and decided to invest for future vacay property, one of the most infamous families, whose inclination to build hotels all over America is buried homonymously within their name, commissioned the Dempsey Vanderbilt Hotel in the ‘30s (you know, when the rest of the world was in a Great Depression).
Currently, the tolerable Miami climate has allowed for the influx of Asian design and cuisine within the exotic landscape as the menu can offer a variety of fresh fish off the Florida coast and exotic lilies and orchids can bloom year round without controlled climate conditions.

4 Reader Reviews | The place is absolutely beautiful, for this reason alone I can recommend it to anyone. The cocktails are delicious and fresh, the service swift and attentive.
The prices are high but would be justifiable if the food would be of the extraordinary quality you’d expect in such an environment. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dish or maybe the chef had an off day. As our dinner was of average quality.
We might give it another try

I thought every detail of the Setai experience was 5-star worthy. You walk through the door into low, warm lighting and the lilting sounds of the piano. Enjoy a high-calibre cocktail while you wait for your table and take in the romantic glow of the beautiful space.
