any of Green Street's first customers still gather here for breakfast since its inception in 1980 when they were a strictly outdoor eatery specializing in breakfast that closed for siesta every afternoon at 3. Nowadays they're open much later, especially with flourishing reputation and a brand new outdoor lounge to appease their faithful clientele until the wee hours of the morn - everybody from rock and film stars to local residents and tourists.

The kitchen serves up simple American fare dotted with Caribbean, Asian and Italian influence. Prices are a tad steep but with the chance to see their celebrity clientele, it just might be worth it to fork over a little mullah. - L.D.
