f there’s one thing that I inevitably think of whenever my thoughts drift to Texas, it’s Brazil. Well, first it’s probably John Wayne, then illegal Mexican slave labor, then George Bush, then rednecks, then King Of The Hill, then …ok , maybe Brazil isn’t my first choice, but some people make that connection. Certainly the people that own the Texas De Brazil chain of Brazillian Steakhouses do, at the very least. Get all the artery-clogging slabs of beef of a steakhouse combined with the spice and general exoticism of Brazil. It’s really the best of both worlds. The latest Miami Branch has opened up shop ontop of Monty’s in South Beach. So head down there now for a little neo-Western/South American flavor.—P.B.
