The décor in this Miami chain is more low-key and chill than L.A.’s. Crisp, clean, and elegance are themes clearly echoed throughout Table 8, which encourages lounging and relaxing. Plush couches, neutral colors and natural simplicity go perfectly with the beach backdrop.
If you’re looking for a spot to get some E&R (eats and relaxation), Table 8 is calling your name. Just be sure to ask for table 8- there are secret perks that I can’t even discuss without getting in trouble. I think I’ve said too much.

10 Reader Reviews | Went here with the family and had a great time. I can't even remember how many courses came out, but they were all delicious and presented perfectly. Not having to pay makes it even that much better.

The service was very good, smiles and greetings all around. A person from party needed a few changes to the menu and they were eager to comply. Our server had very good recommendations on the wine. Attentive.
The food was very good.

We went to Table 8 to celebrate someone's birthday. We were a group of 9 people. In most restaurants that I have been to, a big group like ours don't always receive the best service. I have to say, Table 8 impressed me and then some.
Our waiter was excellent. He was beyond enthusiastic which made our dining experience pleasant. The bill at the end of the night was a bit high but we had no problems paying it.
Side note...valet parking...so easy!

The worst excuse for a high end restaurant!! From the moment I looked at the web site to the moment I walked out I was so disappointed!! At first the site looked ok but when I called to speak to the Chef (reffering to the name on the site) I was told the chef is Jason (site was not updated). The same held true for various menu items that had not been updated as I tried to put together a menu for my group. I was already tired by the time I got off the phone with the "event coordinator" not the chef. When we got there we were told to have a cocktail and table would be ready soon. We waited almost 2 hours for our table!! When we finally were sat down it took 20 minutes to get a drink and another hour and a half to get our entrees. Let me say the food was NOTHING special at all!! my son cooks better at home and he's 12 yrs old. The only thing we liked about it was the bartender giving us free drinks (hoping to get a big tip)!! As I walked by to the restroom I could here the chef shouting profanities at the cooks and I believe this would account for the pathetic execution of our meal. The food was all cold and in my opinion WAY over priced. I got a better meal at Jerry's Deli down the street 2 days earlier. Do yourself a favor and save your money and time because this place is in one word pathetic!!!!!

This South Beach restaurant is indeed a Michelin rated venue, but I have to say that I was expecting more. The food was solid but as good as plenty of other sushi restaurants in the city, I suppose if it was more for the 40+ category than it would be for myself, but even then I have enjoyed my meal more at perhaps another South Beach restaurant.
Indeed if I had a business lunch/dinner for the targeted age group I would venture for another meal here but in the meantime I will steer away. (Too expensive and its not the breath-taking experience that is is the current buzz).
