M iami nightlife sucks. Yeah, I said it. What now? Okay, I should qualify. Miami nightlife sucks for people that loathe clubs. Studio A offers a true alternative (unlike quasi-substitutes like Snatch) to striped-shirt-ers. This mid-sized live-music venue with the decent sound and solid sight lines, offers Pitchfork-friendly acts on a regular basis. It's a thankful haven for the bedroom kid, head twitch, big glasses crowd. Incidentally, Studio B sucks.

1 Reader Reviews | I've been there twice, once for a concert and the second time for the punk rock primaries. Both times were more than decent. Tokyo Police Club(band) was absolutely amazing as were the other acts on the set list. However, they've been inactive for a few months now so I don't how "happening" they are anymore.
