This affordable Japanese-Thai joint serves up, in equal amounts, the common (veggie spring rolls; chicken or beef satay; miso soup) and the slightly less ordinary (the 'Dynamite mussels,' masago and Japanese mayo baked in mussels; sakesu, salmon, crab, cream cheese, and scallion wrapped in thin cucumber with ponzu sauce; hamachi kama, grilled yellow tail jaws.)

There are a few sushi dishes as well; a chef's choice of sushi might be excellent, if the chef gives you good stuff, or a disaster, if he's off-loading sub-prime fish onto the fool who orders it.
